Trios is always looking for new contemporary artwork to complement the gallery. Before submitting your work, be aware that we are a consignment gallery and rarely purchase artwork outright. Due to the large number of submissions that we receive we have established the following protocol.
If you would like to submit work for jury, please mail it to the address below or you may send it electronically to jury@triosgallery.com. (If you send your submission electronically you will receive this information in an e-mail as confirmation of receipt.)
Our jury process can take up to 6 weeks. You should receive either a letter or a phone call from us within that time. If you do not, please feel free to call and check on our progress. Please do not expect to have a meeting until we contact you.
In order to determine if your artwork and the gallery are a good fit, we need complete information:
- Photos of current work (professional images not necessary)
- Sizes / Dimensions
- Description of Materials & Technique
- Artist Bio/Information
- Wholesale or Retail Prices* (please indicate clearly which)
- Self-addressed, Stamped Envelope (if you'd like your packet returned)
*We typically use a standard keystone markup on wholesale. Retail prices should be consistent with what the work sells for elsewhere (including directly from the artist, if the artist sells to the public).
Please note: we do not sell art that we consider to be reproducible or factory-made items. This includes giclees, photographs, digital art, and imported items.
Painters: due to a lack of space on our walls and interest from our clients, as well as the abundance of talented local painters, we generally do not consider painters from outside the region.
